Sexuality: Unknown, even to herself. Naminé has experienced strong feelings for certain individuals, both male and female, but perhaps not sexual feelings.

Appearance: Small, pale, and very thin, Naminé appears to be quite a fragile creature. She stands barely 5'0", with long, slender legs for her height and very slight curves. Her face is pretty and heart-shaped, with large, pale, blue-gray eyes. Her hair is a light blonde color and falls in soft layers to her shoulders, with a few feathery strands of hair covering her forehead. She typically wears a short white dress and a pair of flip-flop sandals.

Personality: Exceedingly quiet and soft-spoken, Naminé gives an impression of shyness and submissiveness nearly all the time. She is indeed shy, particularly around strangers; while Naminé is never unkind, large or possibly threatening people cause her to retreat into a timid shell. However, she responds well to friendliness and kindness, and despite being a Nobody, she seems to be capable of genuinely caring about other people. She is also capable of feeling fear, guilt, and regret, and follows her own set of morals.

Naminé seems to be quite submissive, and in some situations she certainly can be--she spent much of her life being afraid of the people who had power over her and what they might do to her if she disobeyed them. While with the Organization, Naminé went along with their plans despite knowing that they were wrong, and often blamed herself harshly for her part, even though she was hardly in a position to disobey. However, Naminé occasionally shows surprising strength and courage, defying authority for the sake of helping those she wants to help and choosing to do what she believes is morally right, even if it potentially gets her hurt.

Abilities: Naminé has some unusual powers, even for a Nobody--she is capable of changing memories in the mind and heart of Sora, the Keyblade Master, as well as those of the people close to him. The extent of this power is fairly vast--she can erase memories entirely or alter them to any extent, replacing any kind of detail, without being detected. Whether she will retain any of this power in Manhattan is entirely debatable--she cannot change the memories of anyone not related to Sora and even if Sora or anyone close to him were in the city, she wouldn't try. Naminé is also talented with crayons and a sketchbook and enjoys drawing the people and things she sees. Although generally unaccustomed to technology, Naminé is unexpectedly adept at computers, though she could not show you how--she simply seems to have an instinct. It was initially Axel who showed her how to infiltrate DiZ's virtual Twilight Town, but no one quite expected the extent of the havoc Naminé nearly wreaked on DiZ's plans. Ever since then she has been able to hack computers easily.

Weaknesses: Physically, Naminé is weak and pretty much incapable of defending herself; she can't fight and anyone with size and strength on her could overpower her easily. Her timidity is also somewhat crippling for her--when faced with people or things that frighten her, Naminé's first instinct is to run away or to submit, and it takes a great deal of effort for her to be able to stand up for what she believes in. Under the threat of punishment she can be easily coerced into doings things she knows are wrong, and as she is rather naive she is open to manipulation as well.

Manhattanite or outsider? Outsider

History: Naminé was created when Sora impaled himself with the dark Keyblade, releasing his and Kairi's hearts. From the release of those two hearts was created two Nobodies, Naminé and Roxas, the Nobodies of Kairi and Sora respectively. This special connection to Sora is the reason behind Naminé's ability to manipulate the memories of Sora and the people close to him, and the reason she was taken in by Organization XIII. Naminé was placed under the charge of Marluxia and the other inhabitants of Castle Oblivion, and under their orders she altered Sora's memory to replace Kairi with herself, knowing that the Organization wanted to control Sora through her. She went along with their plan until an opportunity to escape arose when placed under Axel's care. He deliberately allowed her to leave his sight, and a guilt-ridden Naminé went to Sora and revealed the entire plan to him, including her part in it. Naminé was amazed to find that Sora was willing to forgive her for tampering with his memories, and vowed to help him recover them if that was what he chose. Her life was later saved by Sora when he intruded on a confrontation between Axel and Marluxia, who attempted to use her as a shield. Axel seemed ready to go through her, but upon Sora's appearance he disappeared and Sora subsequently destroyed Marluxia. Freed from the Organization's control, Naminé placed Sora, Donald, and Goofy into special machines that would help restore their memories entirely and contacted DiZ to protect them. Naminé also aided Riku in Castle Oblivion, appearing to him in disguise as Kairi to convince him not to refuse the darkness in his heart while he was drowning in light.

For a short time Naminé remained with Riku and DiZ as they monitored Sora's memory recovery, but she interfered with DiZ's plans by appearing to Roxas several times in the virtual Twilight Town, revealing information about who and what he was. DiZ ordered Riku to destroy both her and Axel for their interference with Roxas, but Riku allowed them to escape--in Naminé's case, to repay her for helping him in Castle Oblivion. Naminé hid herself away from the Nobodies for some time, but she eventually made her way to the World That Never Was, drawn there by the presence of her Somebody, Kairi. She freed Kairi and Pluto from their prison and helped guide her to Sora and Riku; later, Naminé chose to reunite with Kairi as Roxas had reunited with Sora. But just as they were to fuse together, Naminé blacked out and found herself waking in the ruins of Manhattan.
